Civilian Service Rifle

Civilian Service Rifle (CSR) shooting is by far one of the most varied of the shooting disciplines, and covers a wide variety of shooting styles. An extremely dynamic discipline, CSR uses modern practical rifles from 100m to 600m and is shot from a range of positions at both static and moving targets .

Whilst this style of shooting is not represented at either the Commonwealth Games or Olympic Games at present, it is represented in its own World Championship Matches.

CSR also has a sister discipline, Historic & Classic, which is very similar in every way except that it uses classic and now obsolete military service rifles such as the Lee Enfield.
